WHAT IS NO PHONE ZONE?
No Phone Zone is a national program that focuses on educating about “distracted driving” — the dangers of talking or texting on the phone while driving a vehicle. Over the last decade, distracted driving has swelled into a national epidemic. Oprah Winfrey and Harpo Studios teamed up with FocusDriven in 2010 to create No Phone Zone - a campaign working to change our cell phone behavior and ultimately prevent more senseless tragedies from happening. It is No Phone Zone’s mission to break America’s addiction to talking and texting while driving and bring Americans back to reality before more lives are lost.
OBJECTIVE
Focus on appealing to younger drivers and bringing awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. Currently, promotion for this campaign is only done through spread of word. Rebrand will further the awareness of distracted driving through different forms of media.

Moodboard
Because the goal of this rebrand is to appeal to younger drivers, I wanted the logo to have a phone mascot representing the brand.

Final Logo
Meet the No Phone Zone mascot - a grumpy, old phone that’s sick and tired of people using their phones while driving. The Mascot logo and Wordmark can be used together or individually and can be displayed on any background, light or dark.
Branding
The tagline for No Phone Zone is “Drop the Phone and Drive!”, which must be included on all marketing for the campaign to spread awareness about distracted driving.
